Collectivity without Morals?

Patrick Frank’s Work on Indifference

Michael Kunkel
The composer Patrick N. Frank (born in 1975) has not only been busy with music: he handles problems in music and in today’s society in one go, and in a particularly committed manner. This happens at frontier points between art and science when, for instance, his art project Limina encompasses a scientific symposium. “My message is difficult” says Frank, and the listener, in order to follow these steps, is obliged to take an active part in the process of reflection and plunge into the musical discourse.
