DISSONANCE

DISSONANCE is the most important Swiss Music Journal and is issued four times a year under the common editorship of the Conference of Swiss Universities of Music (KMHS)and the Swiss Association of Musicians (STV), which was the single editor from 1984 to 2009. DISSONANCE documents and comments the contemporary musical creation, life and thought through scholarly work, essays, analyses and interviews, publishes peer reviewed research papers from the Universities of Music and Art, and provides a detailed rubric part where performances and publications are discussed critically and where cultural and political discussions can take place. Languages of publication are English, French, German and Italian. DISSONANCE receives contribution from highly qualified music scholars and journalists from numerous countries. The circulation of DISSONANCE is 2.500 copies distributed worldwide. Once a year a catalogue of new Swiss works appears as supplement.
